Dr. Magness knew from a young age that she wanted to practice medicine. She was raised on a small farm outside Hennessey and received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma. After receiving her doctorate of medicine from the University of Oklahoma, she completed an internship at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. She completed a radiology residency at Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City and was fellowship trained here at Breast Imaging of Oklahoma and joined our staff in April 2005.

Dr. Magness and her husband, also a doctor, live in Edmond with their two children. She is an avid runner and active volunteer with her children’s school.
