A Center of Excellence

Breast Imaging of Oklahoma is a Center Of Excellence as determined by the American College of Radiology. The Breast Imaging Center of Excellence (BICOE) designation is awarded to breast imaging centers that achieve excellence by seeking and earning accreditation in all of the ACR’s voluntary breast-imaging accreditation programs and modules, in addition to the mandatory Mammography Accreditation Program. 

The breast imaging services at Breast Imaging of Oklahoma are fully accredited in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy. Peer-review evaluations, conducted in each breast imaging modality by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field, have determined that this facility has achieved high practice standards in image quality, personnel qualifications, facility equipment, quality control procedures, and quality assurance programs.

Because of its dedication to technology in maximizing patient care, Breast Imaging of Oklahoma was also selected by the national magazine Health Imaging & IT as one of its Top 5 Specialty Facilities for innovation in digital image and information management.
